Spacious paved parking lot just outside the University Lake Park. “No overnight parking”signs. No amenities. Suitable for RVs.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Now has “no overnight parking” signs. A couple cars parked that look like they stayed last night though
Report Check-Inthanks to the big group that trashed the place the last few weeks there's now signs for no overnight parking
I've used this location countless times without issues and it only took a little over a month of a few jerks spreading out and making a mess for it to get shut down.
Report Check-Inbonne place pour une nuit nous étions 4 véhicules. toilette chimique très propre qui ont été nettoyé et vidé à 6h30 am.. a part ça aucune circulation la nuit.
good place for one night we were 4 vehicles. very clean chemical toilet which was cleaned and emptied at 6:30 am.. apart from that no traffic at night.
Report Check-InVery nice and quite place. Only for RVs up to 25ft.
Report Check-InFelt safe, very quiet, didn’t use porta potties (2), and it felt clean and cared for (great job iOverlanders! There were probably 12 vehicles overnight plus a big mog thing! Everyone must be migrating at the same time. Yep, “city-sick” for me too, but I’m picking someone up today at airport and heading North!!! So pleased for such a nice place to rest a few hours so I can restock in Anchorage. Thank you city of Anchorage for letting us have a safe place to stay in your lovely city!
Report Check-InPlace looked good, clean and safe. We didn't stay though, because we got city-sick after 3.5 weeks of just nature 😅
Report Check-InStayed here one night. It’s as described. Quite a few RV’s there with us. Really nice park with an off leash path which was great for the dogs and a pre-bed walk. There is a porta-potty but otherwise no other amenities. Perfect if you want to stick close to the city for a night.
Report Check-Injust as described. nothing but a parking lot. there are 4 RVs, including us.
Report Check-InIt’s a parking lot, but very quiet and with a nice park for a run or walk! Really recommend! No facilities. Starlink worked!
Report Check-InExcellent place, Trail Head, took us some searching, but we found it. These are updated coordinates.
