Parking lot for the Squirrel Hills Recreational Area. No amenities but a nice quiet area for a small self-equipped camper van or small RV. I camped here sept 26 and was very quiet but might be busier in the summer months.

It's just a parking lot (unlevel gravel, not very big), no tables, no washrooms. It's a day use area for walking trails /cross country skiing. Go further down the road to rest area, corner of hwy 16A & 10 which has tables and washrooms.
Report Check-InWe stayed in our 16ft tow behind trailer. Quiet spot not far from highway. parking lot is slanted, but we were able to get the trailer level enough for the night. no signs saying "no camping" present. Close enough to rest stop that we used the bathrooms there in the evening and morning.
would stay again!
Nice spot, enough big for cars and trailers, RV. Garbages. No restrooms.
Several nice trails. Road is close so you hear a little bit traffic but it’s not disturbing. A lot of people on the parking on the evening but very desert and quiet at night.
Great night, no facilities and clean site. Very littlemosquitoes
