I arrived in the speedboat from Oron and was initially told that I couldn’t enter and that I must enter via an airport. I argued with them and eventually got the chief of Police to tell immigration to stamp me in.
I had the sticker from Calabar

I took a boat (30,000 Naira) from oron here, and the man in Green police uniform brought me to the immigration office, people there(I don't know who they are) they said to me that I cannot enter this country. And a man from boat company very rude took my passport, cheated my money and sent me back to Nigeria. And after some stories, with the help of Security territory, I got back to Idenau and stamped my passport. So the truth is that I met bad people and they lied to me and made me traveled three times between Nigeria and Cameron. The immigration men are in blue uniform, they are the only one you can really trust.

Report Check-In

I arrived by boat from Oron, there was trouble on the Nigeria part as half of 8 marine control posts demanded a bribe, the worst was a Nigerian custom check on the sea.
The Cameroon side was chaotic and took a while unloading motorcycles mainly due to demands of additional money (they wanted us to pay a port fee for the whole boat).
The passport were taken by police officer immediately after we arrived and kept on the police station, we had visa stickers so they did not get made any trouble for this reason but at some point a person who was "boss" as we were told get lost and the policewoman claim she can not give us our passport back until he returns. I had the impression this was a common practice in this place (I overheard she was asking fixer how much money he get from us).
Stamping CPD in customs office on Cameroon side literally took 5min.
There were people later down the road which demanded money, they stopped mine companions, but not me.
Cameroon and other countries down south were better and better after this point.

This is a large and chaotic port. People were generally friendly. I was pressured to leave the boat (which had my motorcycle and stuff on it) to go to immigration before the boat even docked. I didn't want to leave the boat until my motorcycle was unloaded. It would have been fine either way I think, just be mentally prepared. Unloading the bike costs 10K XOF, which seemed to be a fixed price.

Next up, immigration and customs. First stop with immigration was in a small booth, but then they took me to their head office at the port, where they phoned people to check if it is okay to give an entry stamp (I had visa sticker in passport). This took a couple of hours in my case, and it sounded like they do this for all unusual arrivals (like European tourists).

Carnet stamp was easy. People were helpful in pointing to the right office. I had been told that I also have to go to the port authority to pay 10K XOF to be allowed to leave the port with the bike. However, when I went to the port authority they told me that I’m free to leave without paying, since I am a tourist. I left the port late, so no roadside checkpoints checked my paperwork when leaving. Not sure how it is during the day.
