this is like many pull-offs on this road. a large pull through that is not quite level anywhere, but we found a spot that was almost level and it afforded us a great view of the sunset. there aren't many cars going by at night after the border station closes so it was pretty quiet. no facilities

Report Check-In

Gem of spot with some grassy/rocky areas suitable for tents. Two fire rings and a taller metal barrel style pit with a grate. There are nearby tall rocks you can climb on that give you almost a panoramic view W-SW. Bring your own firewood and water. No WiFi.

Very nice and easy to get to. Sufficiently cold and windy that eating outdoors wasn’t desirable and around 10pm the clouds rolled in and we were socked in the rest of the night. Bugs were not a problem. 36 degrees in the morning.

Report Check-In

Nice large spot with fire ring. Very windy when we were here but that means no mosquitos (yay). Some walking paths near by as well.

Great place to stop for a night on the way to or from Dawson. Road to the site is easy for low clearance 2WD. Only about 20-30 yards off the highway but hidden and road noise is minimal. Weather was nice for most of the night but a storm came through after dark and I left before sunrise.

Most beautiful spot to camp on TOTW highway. Look for the castle rocks for turn off. Bring firewood if you want to have a fire. The views and small walking trails around are worth the stop!

Report Check-In

Had a quiet night, the view wasn’t so good because of wildfire smoke.
Can only imagine how it would be without, well worth a stop.

Report Check-In

Sharp turn off TOWH to a narrow road. Not suitable for bigger outfits. Nice view though.

Stunning views of the Yukon wilderness. from here you can see in every direction, and with clean clear air you can see hundreds of kilometers all around you. Absolutely worth the drive from Dawson, or a stop to/from the border. Just know there are no services up here, no cell coverage, no water, no pit-toilets but if you're prepared, and you want a world-class view...stop here.

Report Check-In

Nice site, but full of toilet paper from women. Be great if you could take your toilet paper with you. Makes it a lot nicer for the next visitors
