Didnt have any fuel. No gasoline no diesel maybe next day they said.
Report Check-InToday, 25.05.2024 we were refused fuel. There was a woman who is probably the boss or manager of the station and she said that they can't sell fuel to foreigners. Based on other overlanders' experience, I suppose the boy who fills the tank would have sell us fuel if she was not there.
Report Check-InNo problem. 3,72 Boliviano per liter. Directly in the tank.
Report Check-InBought gasoline for my motorcycle at the local price. Young guy working there. Asked for my plate number, but I think he put in a different number. Filled the tank with no other questions. I told him to keep the change when I left.
Report Check-InDiesel straight into tank, super friendly, asked for ID, we gave foreign drivers licence and they looked and gave it back with no worries.
Report Check-InShe asked for our vehicle document. We showed her. Then she just filled up our tank at local price, nothing else was asked.
Report Check-InShe was not friendly, and initially refused because we were foreigners. I was already sent away at the other station for the same reason. I pulled all the tricks: sin factura, bidones, BUT no. Then I said, "El gobierno dice que cualquier turista también puede comprar combustible en todas partes" And I got it straight in the tank for local price. Unexpected but good outcome.
