This whole area is a great place to stay, especially if you plan to hike around the superstitions wilderness. I stayed here 4 nights without a problem. There is some traffic, it’s sparse. Plenty of places to park. I’m in a Subaru and went further back which was more secluded. An AZ state land permit is required. Most around here I learned feel it’s optional. No one came asking me for one but I did have one just in case. It’s $15 for the year.

Spent 3 nights here (different sites) and I will definitely be back. So beautiful! Not the most level spots but nothing to complain about. The farther out you go the worse signal gets but it's still pretty solid (att & tmobile).
Saw a young coyote & quite a few rattlesnakes crossing the road.

Lots of spaces for lots of different sized rigs. Larger spaces are due to er towards the front and smaller more remote spaces further down the road. Trash isn’t too bad but pack it in pack it out!

Fantastic location! A FB poster about the area said it best….don’t just pull into the first open spot you see when leaving the paved part of Peralta Road. Even though there’s quite a few campers in the area we still got a nice little spot with only semi nearby neighbors. This will be our 3rd night here. A bit of road noise off in the distance but still very peaceful. Peralta Regional Park is just up the road, beautiful place! We did a 5 mile trail there, talked to one of the park volunteers. He said it’s only been open for about a year. The absolute nicest pit toilets we’ve EVER experienced 😜

Many choices along this road. All big rig friendly. I recommend getting off the main road a little too avoid the dust from other vehicles. Lovely sunrises and sunsets! Quiet, peaceful, and serene. Buy your $20 pass and support this place. It's good for one year!

We actually stayed just a bit farther up the road than where this pin is. This is a little spur off Peralta Road. There are maybe 6 or 7 spots available with 2 WD. After that you would need an OHV. There were lots of people camping on the side of Peralta Rd, which would be ok especially if you have a big rig, but there would be some traffic throughout the day with people going to the regional park or trailheads that are farther down the road. Being on this spur road was very quiet, we had maybe 4 vehicles go by over 3 days. The scenery here is amazing, flowers, hills, cacti, mountains. And easy access to everything. We rode our Mntn bikes to and from a couple of the trailheads that are just beyond the regional park. Showers available at the Apache Junction Multi- Generational Center, $5 for a day pass. Highly recommend this area.
