Description

Lovely hotel/hostel run by a Swiss man. Dorm beds available for 5000CFA per night, private rooms also available. Dorm beds have mosquito nets. Kitchen also available for dorm use. Breakfast available every morning for 1500CFA. Inside locked compound with night guard, walking distance to DRC and Gabon consulate.

Brush up on your French as the local woman working reception doesn't want to know you if you don't speak French.

À Great place to stay and make all the visa needed. The dorm is OK. Room start a 10k but manage to get a better price since I was here for more than a week.
Motorbike are safe and almost cover from rain.

stayed there for more than a week. Nice relaxed place with even a small garden. Dorms are 5000CfA per bed. There is also one single room in the back for 5000cfa (not the nicest but privacy, a fan, and sink, a desk + chair. shared bathroom in mainbuilding. very good value for money. But the Area around can be really expensive. More local areas are not too far tough... . Ecobank atm with no fees at the petrolstation nearby.

Report Check-In

Double room with bathroom is 16.000 FCFA (fan) or 20.000 FCFA (AC). Wi-Fi is better at common areas.

Report Check-In

Slept in the dorm room for 5.000 per bed. We were the only one in dorms, so really calm. Wifi working well by the reception, not so good in the dorms. Secure parking behind a gate.

Stayed here for few days, central in Cotonou and close to most of Embassies. They offer breakfast and laundry service. Big room for 2 persons is 12.000 CFA, with a/c and ventilator. You can use the kitchenette or go outside for diner. Supermarkets within 100 mtr.

Info still up to date. Nice place, secure, nice neighborhood.
Nigerian embassy also walking distance.

Really nice spot to stay on Benin, set up for overlanders and back backers and tourists. We managed to squeeze our Unimog in but only just. Price still cfa6000 for two and a truck per night. Equipped kitchen to use including fridge space. Clean toilet and shower. Super 👍.

Good place, friendly staff and owner. Paid 5000 for camping in the driveway for two. Reasonable WiFi, convenient location, quiet at night.

Report Check-In

A very convenient location for city embassies. I parked small van in the driveway and slept there with use of shower an toilet. WiFi not bad when there is electricity and good space on terrace to eat and work. There is a bakery just opposite and a small supermarket, plenty of restaurants and bank in walking distance. Staff are super friendly and helpful, learning English, laundry service available.

Enjoyed almost a week there with many other travelers. If you're travelling solo you can ask for the small private room in the back, it just costs 5000 cfa, more privacy, more silent and even a private sink ;)

Report Check-In

Nice and clean place to meet other overlanders and to apply for visa. Embassy of DRC and Gabon are near by.
Room and especially bed was really good. WiFi average.

Report Check-In

As described. Nice place. Not much in the way of parking or camping space for those after that. One thing to note is that this is in an upmarket area so expect European style bars and restaurants with prices to match. Wifi atrocious.

Report Check-In

Very good place. Cheap and good situation. The bed is very confortable!

Nice place to stay and organise visa etc, DRC is around the corner. We paid 18000 cfa for room nr 3 with good working airco. Stayed 6 nights. Plenty restaurants around altough not very cheap. Wifi works but not very fast.

Enjoyed our stay here. Had two different rooms due to showing up without a reservation but they did their best to accommodate us. The first room (triple) had a much stronger AC then the double room the next night. Great location but the many nice restaurants nearby are expensive. The Festival du Glaces restaurant 100m away on the corner had the best ice cream of the 3 ice cream shops we tried. However, I advise against eating in the restaurant because they add ridiculous surcharges to eat in the restaurant. Also the food was just ok. So, in conclusion, go to festival du Glaces for take away ice cream.
