It’s a really nice calm beach at the end off the restaurants/ bars area , a little busy during the day but keeping a relaxed and friendly ambience , there’s no street light at night but people where very respectful and we felt very safe , spend two nights here with no trouble

We spent 2 wonderful nights here. There are several people that park here to access the beach during the day but we had the grassy spot to ourselves all night. It’s quiet despite being close to the road or perhaps it is the sound of the waves crashing that drown out any street noise. There’s no services whatsoever but there is a garbage can.
We loved watching the same dog walkers and joggers coming by in the morning as we did yoga on the beach. The water is much clearer than it looks from the beach. Go in and have a swim! The water is lovely.
Cahuitas National park is just a few Km down the road and it’s entrance fee is by donation! Be sure to wear a swimsuit to take advantage of the beautiful playa Blanco while you are walking and looking for critters in the trees. We saw loads of monkeys , 2 sloths and many many lizards.
Great spot!
