Checkpoint / Inspection searched for guns, drugs, money. One guard said to check to make sure we have everything and nothing was taken. Nothing was to our knowledge. Looks official but temporary.

Little bit on a backup. FRG checkpoints. Of course we get the hard looks as we have US plated SUV. They were stopping other vehicles for random inspections. Drove through no biggie.
Report Check-InThis is illegal checkpoint. They are not authorized to stop anybody. Do not obey their signals and keep driving. First time towed RV in Mexico we stopped at similar checkpoint. They searched our trailer for about one hour and stole $1700USD. We clarified with police (multiple departments) - never stop at such fake checkpoints.
Report Check-Ineasy one. got pulled over, they had a quick look into my car and I was on the way in less than a minute.
Report Check-InAsked if we had drugs, guns, marijuana, also checked and counted our cash. He didn’t take any of our cash but he kept asking about money and if we had more.
