Municipal campground was closed so they let us camp here. Park at side or back of info centre. Quieter than YPF gas station but still close enough to access their bathrooms. WiFi available, in 2016 password is [passwords are not allowed ].

good place to have a quiet night if you park behind the tourist information.
toilets, cold shower and 3 different Wifi connections nearby, the best is at "Restobar".
The lady at the tourist office is indeed a bit useless, but very kind at least. ;-)

Dormimos aquí por uma noite! Iríamos ficar no ypf, porém a agente de turismo disse que não haveria problema em estar aqui, desde que assumíssemos o risco. Passamos uma noite tranquila.

big place to park side visitors information, next to the YPF station, free water on the place, bathroom and shower on the gas station, there's a shop with a delicious torta fritas

We slept here in the parking lot because the YPF was very full (lack of diesel for trucks) and it was very quiet. The center was closed (on the weekend) and the food truck there said it wouldn't be a problem. The next day, we showered (free) at YPF

Dormimos aqui no estacionamento porque o YPF estava muito cheio (falta de diesel para caminhões) e foi bem tranquilo. O centro estava fechado (fim de semana) e o food truck que tem ali falou que não teria problema. No dia seguinte, tomamos banho (gratis) no YPF

we asked the truckers and they said we could stay here overnight. The guy of the tourist office is of little use for local information, he just wants to send you to the cabañas. Wifi ok. we were told that the water in the garden is drinkable and we loaded the camper.

Beside at YPF station we took a hot shower by 25 pesos per person.

no Wi-Fi and the people from the office were not really happy to let us stay overnight with our motorhome, so we left
