Description

Very nice bush camp in a little lagoon of the Okavango Delta.

They only have 2 camping sites with private Ablution. It's all new so it's very clean. Donkey hot water. Showers are very comfortable.

Private kitchen too. With sink. Hot and cold water. Table. Braï spot.
They provide wood.

150 pula per person per night.

They also have tent sites. Don't know the price.

They do some activities too. Like mokoro trip (400 pula), boat trip, horse riding, bird watching...

Restaurant and bar on site. You have to book in advance.

Free wifi at the reception where you have tables and comfortable couch.

Big pool, volleyball court.

Latest Check-Ins

We pre-booked the campsite as they indeed only allow one group (2 sites, one group in total) which makes perfect sense privacy wise. Contact was very easy and Dammann was very helpful. Really enjoyed the site with private ablutions, price was P150 p.p.p.n. which is very reasonable and might be considered cheap. Very nice bar and dining area, had dinner and really enjoyed that! The honesty bar was just perfect with nice stock. Did a Mokoro tour which was very lovely and Dammann and his family were able to drive us there which was just perfect and we were able to get to know them a bit, very very nice owners and a very nice site!

Really nice place right on the river but they only allow one camper at a time but they did allow us to camp in the parking lot which we did but would not really recommend as you’ll have 0 privacy and nowhere to wash dishes, they still charged us 150p pppn

Nice site with practically private ablutions, as they said that they take only 1 party (despite having 2 campsites), if the other car would be some strangers. 150 pula/pppn. The owners were not home and the caretaker/host, Tito, was not the best…couldn’t make a proper fire to the donkey shower so after already waiting for ~3 hrs we just had a lukewarm shower. Ablutions are new, so very clean. Electricity, wash basin. No view from the campsite, so maybe could take only a few trees away and there would be one? Big pool, but we didn’t use it now. Hippos may visit during the night.

wonderful spot on the lagoon, with beautiful view out onto the papyrus swampland. Very friendly owners, super accommodating and happy to help with anything. 150 Pula pppn for a very nice campspot under a huge jackleberry tree. Clean outdoor ablutions, electricity (only Botswana plugs) and washing up stations at the campsite.
We cycled (pushed) in to the long (2km) stretch from the main road which was quite a mission but well worth it! I’d suggest if you’re on a bicycle, stay at least 2 nights ..then it’s definitely worth the missions through the sand :)
Good self service bar with deck overlooking the swamps.
Definitely recommend!
