Description

Gigantic spot with pull thru just off NF-3511. amazing view of Mt Hood. Very quiet and breezy. Room for multiple campers/RVs or 12+ tents. This place is huge! One good-sized fire ring that could probably benefit from a clean out and rebuild but still very usable. There are signs of deer and either bear or coyote so be aware! lots of bees when we were here in July.

Check out these photos! Definitely awesome to wake up too and enjoy morning routine too. 🏔️🤙🏻 charging batteries in myself and my camper!

Report Check-In

Awesome spot with great views. Little un-level but that’s no biggie. Gravel spread around on site mixed with dirt so good traction. Some bees here in June 2024. 1-2 bars of LTE on Verizon which is a big jump for a solid 1. It’s 3:00 pm here and it’s 68° blue sky’s down to 46° tonight. Lots of sun light for solar charging. 🏔️ Happy Trails 🤙🏻

Word of caution for pet owners. We are finding glass on the ground from broke bottles. Near fire rings.

Massive area, road is not paved but ok I drove up in my Camry. 2/3 bars of Verizon LTE. Great view of Mt Hood. Some fire rings available.

Beautiful spot! Large lot with multiple sites that have an amazing view.

About Midway between government camp and Hood River. Half mile off wide road up steep road that is a bit bumpy turn right on side trail to large clearing with Vista views of mountains and Mount Hood. Way more than we were expecting.

Report Check-In

Great views and easy access. Two other vans here plus a random impromptu wedding party that showed up, got married, and left. Otherwise very peaceful and quiet. Stellar Mt Hood and sunset view right out of the back of our van. Rainier and St Helen’s visible just a few steps away from the site.

One of the nicest spot we stayed. Large open area perfect for starlink but still feel secluded. Incredible view of mount hood. Perfect to play catch with a dog. It can get windy so probably better for campervan than tent
