Driving down road there were a couple pull outs but some had signs “no camping” some didn’t. We drove up past the mine and found a great level secluded spot.
We also saw you can park up to 72 hours in turn square but we wanted something more rural

This place is cute but it is a rip off. They were full and offered to let us stay in their parking lot for the same price as a camp site which is now $25. You can also tour their mine for an additional $13 per person. There are no showers, dump or water refills. Not worth $25
Report Check-InConfirmed still no signs prohibiting camping. One of the uglier little campsites in my month of wild camping around Alaska, but when every other campsite is full & it’s late it will do.
Not very level at all except right in the mud pit adjacent to the stagnant pond that breeds mosquitos; used firewood to level the truck a bit further away. Trash everywhere from other campers to pick up. More road traffic this far up the road than you’d expect. But it was a place to crash for the night.
