Dispersed camping up to 14 days. Quiet place in the forest, not many people. A few firepits that people have created here and there. Flat dirt road was well maintained. No facilities but pretty sure there is a Big Foot. My Verizon came in and out but mostly did not work…assume no service.

Beautiful forest camp ground. Rocky clay soil, lots of spots to set up. Can hear interstate but it's not too bad.
Report Check-InTurn left from the paved road just past the castle gap. It's a nice area, and while there are some VW sized holes in the dirt road, unless it's raining hard, it should be passable by vans and Stratton wagons. No amenities, the freeway is fairly close, but not obnoxious. This is the middle of acres of ponderosa pines, so enjoy!
