Instead of turning right to go to the Lookout Pass visitor center turn left on a paved old road that is no longer used. About a mile down after driving there’s a pull out with a makeshift rock fire ring. It overlooks a valley with a stream. Minor highway noise. But a very secluded spot while I wait to get my Hiawatha pass the next morning. Three bars LTE with a WeBoost.

Loved this little spot, great view and the sound of the river was awesome. Also found a another location 150 yards past this, back in spot off the road.
Report Check-InEasily found and so deserted we were sure we wouldn’t see another soul. 8 pm a jeep flew past us, 15 minutes 2 cars flew by us. Another 15, Jeep left, followed shortly by 2 cars. Guess the deal was done. 2 AM, a car drove by, turned around and parked 100 yards beyond us. Seemed sketchy. We decided to get the hell out of Dodge and went to a rest stop to finish the night. Just warning ya!
