Large turnoff off forest road. there's a cleared path right off the road if you want to hike in a very short way & set up camp right on the bank of the river (sometimes more like a creek, depending on how much rainfall there's been). There are 3 cleared areas along the path to do so. Dispersed camping allowed in MN state forests. no cell service with T-Mobile but had 2 bars with Verizon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
the gate was closed with a sign that said road closed until further notice and was dated in February. so it's been closed almost 2 months now 😭 must be for spring thaw maybe? idk when it will open back up
Report Check-InWhat a beautiful place. Quiet and there are about 8 places to boondocks. I was able to get Verizon here.
