Description

Awesome quiet dispersed campsight in Cedar City BLM. you can hear I-15 in the distance, but overnight, we did not see or hear anyone else. Nice open area, good for kids (no cactus noticed). There was an established fire rung which we added to and improved. lots of firewood on the ground in the imediate area. Beautiful scenery in all directions, particularly to the East. The only downside was a bunch of rotten clothing piled near the edge of the site. fortunately the kids never seemed to notice them. Otherwise pretty clean. We picked up a couple small pieces of trash left behind. Should be accessible to 2wd vehicles. road was rutted, but dry. Could be an issue in the mud or very low clearance car. T Moble service here. 5G

quiet and secluded. had to rebuild the fire pit but was clean. the road in was really rough. I wouldn't recommend a low-lying vehicle.

Stopped by should have stayed. Best spot I found in area. Little trash that could be picked up but not bad. Also some shrubs that need to be trimmed for larger vehicle. So bring a saw if you are trying to take a truck camper down. I was in my truck camper and should have just trimmed the trees and stayed. Other places in area were little sketch.

it was amazing. thank you so much for the person that noticed this site. easy ride ( can be muddy) fire ring. follow the electrical poles. cold at night in November. 25°
we were on our way to Yankee Doodle and SLC traffic slowed us down. this place was a great way to camp for 1 night. no bathroom no water.

Glad the first parkable area (“site” is a loose term) I arrived at was open, as I would not have proceeded down beyond the brief (2’ driver/passenger differential) pitch in the road in my high rollover risk vehicle. Also glad that I did not step outside the camper in the dark, as I was greeter by five large solid waste piles in and near the site. 😡. Went for a 1/4 walk in the morning and picked up/packed out two bags of bottles, cans, cups, and various trash. Still, glad I had a free convenient place to spend the night.
