Description

A nice hostel located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The owner's family lives here as well, and do their best to make your stay the best possible. You can park your vehicle/motorcycle within the locked gates. Dorm rooms are 300 mxn a night per person, or private rooms for a few more bucks. Great wifi, hot water, near the beach and a must stop on your way down south! Our pick up truck couldn’t go through the gate (it’s probably 10ft tall) but the host told us to park on the street in front of their security camera.

Secure motorcycle parking.
Walking distance to tacos and supermercados.
Try Homers burgers and hot dogs on the street corner.

Latest Check-Ins

300 mxn/night for dorm room. Secure parking for motorcycles. Chances are you’ll be the only person in the room because no one comes here. There are plenty of permanent and semi permanent residents though staying in other areas of the property, they’re all good and like a chat, they’ll suffer through your Spanglish. 45 minute walk to the tourist trap area, 15 to nearest supermercado or 30+ to Walmart. There’s a hostel in the tourist area but there’s no parking so this is your only spot, I wouldn’t trust the rv parks for security reasons. There’s nothing in Ensenada for overlanders so I’d only recommend stopping if you need something like parts or repairs which this is a good place for. Many mechanics have P.O. Boxes in the US to save on delivery cost and time or find a Facebook page to ask on. Couples can probably find a better solution such as one of the many motels

We went there in May 2023 and got a private room for 2 people for 800 pesos. It’s very homie, huge balcony with ocean view (we were on the second floor). It can be kinda loud especially on a Saturday night as the walls are pretty thin. I would recommend!

The other more central hostel was closed so came here MX 400 for a dorm bed which is a bit steep, bit run down and the young guy didn’t speak good English. Could probably have found a better local hotel for cheaper. On the upside it was in a quiet neighbourhood, there was kitchen access and somewhere safe inside a locked compound to put my bicycle. Not really a hostel in the truest sense just a section of rooms with some as dormitories.

Very nice hostel, the owner and her family are very nice and helpful.

Need some nights here time fix an issue on my Jeep, price is fair, they've let me pay cash in USD, I'm not sure you can pay with credit card anyway.

Price was $37 for 3 nights in a dorm, and they were all glad there are such good reviews on I overlander.

Also room to park you car or bike inside. Big rigs won't fit.

Good hostel. Oralia the owner is really Nice and helpful. I stay there four day and it was exactly what I needed to take some rest. Quiet at night, good wifi, hot shower, no laundry. I was alone in the 8 rooms bed.
13 dollar the night, you have a good food around (panaderia, tacos, etc...)

(If you are from Swiss ask if Hanspeter is still there ;)

Nice place to chill and get your stuff sorted out! Slept hours last night, its quiet and the pillow, its luxury! Bikes all secure in lock up yard here. Seems like a family home rather than a hostel..
