At the Love's Travel Plaza, there are signs everywhere stating 1h parking limit, but you ask anybody and they tell you there is no issue staying overnight anywhere, and many cars and trucks do. In fact I stayed the night plus until 2pm and nobody questioned me.
There is obviously 24h gas, bathrooms, store with some food, car tools, electronics and a subway plus McDonald's.
You can even rent a bathroom with a shower for $15 (which I didn't); they state no time limit. There is WiFi available, but only for pay (~$4 for 4h?).
Across the street is another option to stay (labeled under water) and they have a Burger King but fewer other options from what I can tell.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Truck stop. Asked if I could overnight in campervan & staff said yes just park on outer perimeter spots. Another Campervan, truck, & some cars also overnighting. Has dog park. Also propane. And dump w/non-potable water for a fee. Not a bad place to overnight off the highway. Also McDonalds & Subway in their plaza. Thanks Love’s for the stay.
Report Check-InClassic Loves truck stop - showers for pay inside, restrooms, semi truck parking in the back and they are okay with RVs/pull behinds/camper vans parking there if there is space. Slept well here for one night.
