Mexico
Sections of the road are either severely pot holed or down to one lane because it’s partially washed out. There is evidence of small landslides as well and we drove over a (very small) flowing river.
Road is passable in our Promaster, but if we’d known of the conditions we would have taken the western road to San Pedro Pochutla

As of 1st May 2024, this section of road is now paved with beautifully smooth black tarmac! enjoy! :)
Report Check-InAs of 16 January 2024, the road is still in very bad shape. When you think it cannot be worst, it’s worst! Lots of construction crews working on the repairs but it will most likely be many more months before it’s back to decent conditions. We managed to drive the 34km between Copalita and Santa Cruz Huatulco in about 2hr in our 24ft Class C. The view is amazing though! and there is barely any traffic so it wasn’t stressful but it’s a slow trip.
