Nearby botanical garden is a nice little garden park and is free. Hot spring along the river is less than a mile north on the river trail that goes through there. Great spot, wish there were more places like this

Stayed here last night, no problems! Nice and quiet and a good place to work during the day. There are a TON of regular cars that appear to have been here for days- lots of snow on them and last snow was Thursday. It’s now Tuesday. If these cars can stay here for that long and not move and not get towed, I think we’re good since we actually move and let plows get in.

Came during rain at night. plenty of cars, rvs and trucks parked here. Can't see a thing but grateful for a place to stay overnight.

Great free overnight parking close to downtown. A couple other overnighter vans midweek in August. Botanical garden nearby which open at dawn closes at desk — bonus: yoga on the lawn at 9 am.

Large parking lot - Emerald Park/Yampa Botanical Garden. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Very quiet.

Cute park with large parking lot, allows over night parking. Just off of hwy 40, very easy to access and had no issues through the night. Also has bathroom with running water.
