No water or electric. Great parking area, very flat with several options. I’m impressed for free camping right off I-29.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The site was obviously not being kept up (mown, etc) so I called Monona County Sheriff’s office. They said it’s ok to stay but it’s not patrolled. I didn’t feel safe. Maybe if there had been somebody else there., I would have stayed.
Report Check-InGreat night. This spot is kind of small about 4/5 cars vans. Very quiet and 3 bars of signal on T-Mobile.
Report Check-InQuiet and clean place at the water. Place for 5 RV's. Had 3 different vehicles checking the area. We had a little chat with the sheriff and he confirmed that we could stay for the night. Would stay again.

Report Check-InAs previously described by others. The last approximately 1.2 miles of to the area is a well gravel led road. 1 other car using the area. Very quiet. No amenities - no toilet or warer. Some trash around the margins, but not bad. It’s OK as a place to spend a single night for free.

Report Check-InNice place. Some large trash objects being dumped illegally, but it was quiet and just one person showed up in the morning. I did hear gun shots, but far away and must have been a range somewhere.
