Only 10-15 minutes from Bend. Near to Tumalo Falls Trailhead. Dirty Road to get there. On Phil's extensive bike trail system get a map from a bike shop in town and have a great time!

Less spots along this road but also less campers seem to come here. Take the gravel road until you see a large pullout on the left (there will be a few at the beginning but that’s where the mountain bikers park). If you hit the gate to the quarry, you’ve gone too far. This spot is smack dab in the middle of the extensive Phil’s trail system which is awesome. The trails cross a little further down from camp so little to no foot traffic comes through. Same with cars. Very quiet. 2 bars of LTE with Verizon and AT&T.
Report Check-InForest service road across from the Widgi Golf Course. Found this spot (thanks to the ranger at the info office up the road) after seemingly searching all day in Deschutes NF and coming up empty handed due to closed roads and few pull outs. Pretty quiet beside a little road noise in the background, little to no bugs (no mosquitoes! Yet...) and a ton of trails in the area to take our dogs. Level spots, neighbors are far enough away, and pine trees everywhere.
Report Check-Inpristine dry camping right on Phil's bike trail system only 10 minutes out of town.
