Lovely rest area with a dark lot for two rigs off to the west side. No signs against overnights and plenty of quietly sleeping. it's right on the road but there's virtually no traffic at night.
water, dump, toilets, pavilions, and a nice tail

Nice historical rock to visit nearby. Very important for the Oregon Trail with old carved names from the 1800s.
Nice parking for campers.
Report Check-InWow what a great rest stop. It was such a nice night to explore the historical points of the independence rock. We had a beautiful sunset, sunrise, moon, and the stars were in abundance. The hike around the rock was so enjoyable. The dog had fun climbing them as we took pictures. There were about 10 RVs camping and I’m sure many find it on here to stop there so surprised more people aren’t sharing about this spot. Restrooms were fine. Some road noise but the trade off is def worth it.
