Really Nice spot, view 360. Fire pit and much dry wood everywhere. LTE is good. Very quiet. Just you and the scenic view.

Latest Check-Ins

We spent 2 nights there. Very nice and quiet. Muddy road at the end to get to the spots but ok with any vehicule if no rain.

Nous venons de passer 2 nuits tranquilles dans ce spot. La dernière portion de route pour y accéder est en terre, attention en cas de pluie mais sinon accessible à tous les véhicules

GPS on Apple Maps takes you past the road and into a private drive, use Google Maps and look for Peter’s Point Road. Take that road and you will hit the BLM sign and cattle guard, we took the first road to the right shortly after the sign that leads you to the top of a very small hill (more like a mound)
Cool views but nothing crazy, quiet, a bit windy as it’s exposed. It’s all soft red dirt so be careful if it’s wet.
Verizon LTE at 1 to 2 bars

Beautiful 360 degree views at a large area on the top of a hill. It doesn't look like anyone has been up here for a while, there were no tire tracks or footprints anywhere in the dirt.
I would recommend that the area and the road up would be very muddy if it's been raining recently.

The GPS coordinates for this place in Google maps led me down a side street (5115 Somerville Rd.) DO NOT take this turn, it is a dead end ending at a fence with only a very narrow space to turn around.

There are two campspots here after you pass the cattle grid onto BLM land (brown sign): one about 400 yards in on the right, where a narrow road turns off with space for two campers, and one a bit further along on the left, space for one camper. No big rigs.
