We camped here to see the penguins the next morning as inside the gated area is a no camping sign. It's not a nice place but ok if you just wanna sleep here. Very windy of course. Good for our dog to jump around as he has to wait in the car for the time we see the penguins. There are more spots along the coast.

Great spot to camp before or after visiting the penguins. It is definitely worth to walk out to see the penguins. At this time of year the eggs are hatching, we saw many babies, still in the nest.
