great campground by the lake. we where there the 1st of october. they where closed for the season but still open user maintained. no fee.

Report Check-In

What a beautiful/quiet rec site! Showed up at 7 PM on a Wednesday in mid-July, many of the spots were taken along the water-front but we were lucky to find one forgotten spot in between two groups, we parked and walked our tent down past the picnic table/fire pit and camped right on our own private little beach. Very peaceful.
15$ a night. Good cell service. Gates close at 11 PM and re-open at 7 AM. 30 minutes to Vernon.
(As another overlander mentioned wasps were a nuisance but not a deterrent.)

Report Check-In

Open for the season. Very nice peaceful. They do close the gate at I think 10 o'clock at night. Reopens at 7 am

Report Check-In

we found this place closed (for season?)

Report Check-In

$15 per site plus $7.50 for extra vehicles. most sites have easy access to the lake for swimming or water activities. excellent rec site

Report Check-In

Great place! No amenities other than pit toilets.

Report Check-In

Obviously a popular spot as most sites were taken , we feel lucky to have found one . As described the site is on the lake. Most of the spots have their own small access to the lake but for those that don’t there are a few access points available to all.

BC Evely Rec Site. Beautiful location right Okanogan lake with 50 sites in total. Picnic tables, fire pits, outhouses. Most sites on the water. No garbage so pack it out. $15 fee May 1-Sept30 otherwise free.

Report Check-In

good camping
beautiful view on lake Okanagan

Report Check-In

Temporary closed as of 18-09-2021 because of fires nearby.

Report Check-In

Place is marked as closed, possibly due to the fire and evac order. Sep 2021. So far not touched by the fire.

Report Check-In

great place on the lake. I enjoyed a few days camping here. wasps were a bit of a nuisance but not e deterrent. easy pull in with a tent trailer, fairly quiet at night or at least by midnight. thinking of coming back regularly.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous campsite on the shore of Lake Okanagan! Many sites right on the water. Cell reception is great, pit toilets manageable, easy for large rigs. $15/night.

Report Check-In

Free in the off season. Max 14 day stay. Will fit all rigs, but the road in is a bit rough and a steep downgrade. 30’ class A fit no issues. Good cell signal.

Report Check-In

Off season so the site is not managed. Also no fee. We staying a few days before moving on. 14 day max stay allowed.
very tight, big rigs be careful, one turn around spot halfway down, you can get in but I'd recommend walk in first as there are realistically only 3 or 4 good site for a large 5th wheel. Lots of tent sites, and single Van types would just about fit anywhere. 50km roughly from Kelowna on the winding west side road. Although great ATV and dirt bike trails across the main road the site has a big sign saying NO FUN ALLOWED. Would be great if one could access the trail system from the camp....maybe a stagging area..... could work well.

Report Check-In

Looks like a fantastic place, but it closed on November 16th, likely a seasonal closure.

Report Check-In

Beautiful lake and surrounds, drop toilets, fire pits, tables.. everything you need. We were happy to pay a fee but stayed 2 nights in early November and saw no one except a couple of people using the boat ramp. I guess it’s unmanned in the off-season. A lovely secluded spot.

Report Check-In

Nice campground next to the lake! Stayed there for 3 nights and they didn't charge!

Report Check-In

Came here hoping to find the nice lakeside campground described, but found a very crowded campground, overrun with poison ivy, and a grouchy hostess so I didn’t stay. Instead I went just up the road to the iO Hilltop spot which didn’t have the lake but what a great view!

Report Check-In

Sign before the road leading down to the lake side said 'campground full' but still headed down and very friendly lady working at the campground said she had a small spot for me and my converted car. Peaceful, clean, spacious, fire pit and picnic table, $15 a night. Loved having a swim in Okanagan Lake after waking up, nice spot in this area (30 mins away from Vernon).

Report Check-In

Just a wonderful place! 14 CAD per night, benches, pit toilets, fire pits, no mosquitos and a very friendly owner. Up to 50 sites. Big rigs are gonna have a rather difficult time here. Its not impossible but quite narrow.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campspot for 12.-/night or 14.- for the whole day and night. We‘v in May and had to pay it. They’re coming to your site to collect it. It has about 42 sites. Directly at the lake. Each sit has a table and two benches.
The street to the campground is unsealed but absolutely no problem to drive it. For big rigs maybe difficult to turn around.

Report Check-In

Nice place. 12 dollar per night. Same area as the other iOverlander Evely spot.

Report Check-In

A really "wow-"place!
Many campsites directly by the lake with fire rings, great view on the lake.
It is not a Province or Regional Park but it's a great place for enjoying the lake.
Signs doesn't show us what they charge in summer, we have been here out of season and no one showed up to collect money.
But it's worth to pay some Dollar!
