We just stopped here for tooth brushing and think it is a beautiful place to stop for the night before heading to Ayacucho. Street has not a lot of traffic.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Way too exposed to spend the night here unless you are in a tent, in which case you could go down the hill a bit and be out of sight. The side road in question has a sign saying that it was prohibited to be there from 6pm to 5am so I did not investigate further.
Report Check-Infurther down the road three is a large flat full off, better for camping. it's away from the busy main highway with nice views. there is water in two aquaducts between here and the highways. this dirt road is well travelled but no one bothered us.
Report Check-Inwe had breakfast here, after ayacucho. (we left ayacucho early to avoid parked cars at the exit of casa del maestro and a lot of traffic there.) if you follow the side path you can even hide from the street. no facilities.
