Area de servicios, highway parking lot | Informal Campsite

When we arrived the water was being repaired, but in 15min it was on. Showers hot, toilets clean when we arrived but horrible the next morning (many camioneros) 😳
We arrived through the side road from iquique and the retorno to continue in direction arrive is only 500m away.
We slept good although many trucks stopped here in the evening.
There s a paramedics post on the other end of the area de servicios, as usual in Chile.
Water is signposted as no potable.

still there and as described. asked if it's fine to stay overnight and they said yes. I didn't, but used the shower. free and hot. good place to rest before going into the city.

Well place to stay day and night. All facilities you need. Free, hot showers, quiet on the night. Road assistence stay all time in this place.

it was very foggy here. so we prefered to stay at humberstone overnight, and it was more quiet at himberstone. in the morning the lady baños were clean, men' s not.

Si l'on vient depuis Iquique, inutile de joindre ce point situé a gauche de l'autoroute, il faut continuer 6km pour avoir un "retourno" et le lendemain il faut redescendre sur Iquique sur 5Km pour retourner sion veut aller sur Humberstone, donc cela fait 22km d'accès et Humberstone est a 23km, donc allez directement a Humberstone

Quiet and free parking lot, clean bathrooms and showers, better sleep here cause Iquique could be dangerous.
