Description

Ex cable car/ German fun park abandoned place// Finca san Antonio Amatepec
The gate is from the St Marco sustainable coffee house (honk & wait front of the gate- they see you on camera) - camping 5$ and you can explore the whole hill and drive up/around with 4x4 and high clearance.
If you find the top of the mountain (exactly on this coordinates) > you will get the once-in-a-lifetime view of the city and surroundings!
..and an abandoned city up there- with creepy stuff. Enjoy!

Latest Check-Ins

Revisited the place and the way up is totally improved!
The gate is still at the entrance of the finca and not the old station (google shows that)

we spent one night at the is beautiful 360° lookout. it's manageble with 2wd, but need some experience to drive up. there are different areas to see, so take your time and explore. lot of space to camp for the night, might be a bit busy at the weekend, but sundown and sunrise are just magical! the ex teleférico building looks abandoned but if you go down on the lower levels, you will find a decent toilet. make sure to bring paper! also if you have some spare dog food, please feed the black and white doggo. he looks healthy but he's just skin and bones. day price 3$ pp camping 5$pp. if you need water the place has collected rain water that you can use.
