Small pull-off from a side road that goes down into the main canyon. Awesome setting with view to volcano and birdwatching on the marsh right next to camp spot. Nice guy came by on a bicycle on his way to his fields in the morning and had a friendly chat.
The portion of road that comes directly down into the canyon from the main road to the west is narrow and washed out and for a small 4x4 only.

An amazing place to camp. Thank you for posting it. To get there as said, good 4x4 skills necessary. Easier from the village in the north., but the road is narrow, too. In the morning we saw chinchillas and eagles in the rocks.
