We spent 4 nights in front of the park parking lot, no problem, during the day the park guards watch the cars and at night the police come every hour, very quiet at night, a little traffic during the day. Wifi near the parking lot but not very good connection.
We were able to visit Santiago, 1 km on foot, the metro station, the largest AMS tower, in the park access to the cable car to access San Cristóbal, the swimming pool and the funicular.
Excellent location.
.....
excellent emplacement.

You can park and overnight for free along this road, very quiet at night and during the week. On weekends there is a lot movement. Nice playground and great walks around. Metro and bus very close. If you need to fill the water tank, ask to one of the guys with a yellow jacket that help to park and survey the cars, they have a hose and will fill your tank for a tip.
Report Check-InPerfect place in Santiago, we stayed with a big rig for a week, no problem, quiet (for a big city), bathroom and good neighborhood.
Report Check-InWe had zero issues staying here for almost a week. Felt quite safe, even left the car unattended in the dark to see the sunset from the tower. Bonus tip: You'll see your car from the tower.
Report Check-InFree parking for overnight in front of the entrance of the San Cristobal Park
