Description
Typical highway rest area but this one is much bigger and darker than the one at Goochland further east, which felt too small and well lit to feel inconspicuous in our van.
There is construction on the main building while we are here but temporary restroom buildings are in place (not port-a-potty, actual buildings).
A decent spot if heading west on i-64. If heading east there is no corresponding rest stop across the highway (at least that we saw).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
