Description

We passed by the Marakachi waterfall. It is 500 meters from the road and you can enter with any vehicle. The place is very nice and quiet, it has a bathroom and shower. There is also a barbecue. The place is in charge of an indigenous community that asks for a daily contribution. We left 20 reais to spend the night. As in all the great savannah, there are puripuri, which is a very small mosquito that bites you!

El espacio esta a cargo de una comunidad indigena que te pide una colaboracion por dia. Nosotros le dejamos 20 reales para pasar la noche.

Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here in the rainy season and it was not possible with our 4x4 truck. The path is partly washed away. Even in the dry season, at least good ground clearance should be available.

Report Check-In

Came here to just to visit the falls and not stay the night, they asked for $5 just to visit. Falls are nice for a swim, no big waterfall, just a bunch of pools and slate rock, nice to explore and play around in the water. There were little thatch roofs for camping under and a few level spots to stay the night in the van. No restaurant. I think there were bathrooms.
