This Reserva National is closed on Mondays; other days: open 9:30 am to 17:00pm; more than 450 figures, animals or geometrics; dated between 400 to 1400 D.C., good view from the outside road parallel to the park if closed.
7000 CLP pp for foreigners.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Price is now 8500clp. We skipped it. There is a big area to camp outside of the gate. See point next to this.
Report Check-InThe architecture of the museum is very nice.
The sun was way too intensive to take the walk with two little kids even in winter and late afternoon. Maybe that would make the deal but the rest (museum and geoglifos you can see from the parking lot) wasn’t worth the 14k pesos for two adults. Locals only pay 2000 pesos :-(

Coming from „Parque Chug Chug“ near Calama this is another amazing and interesting point for us to see „Geoglyphos“.
The interpretative center is very nice too.
7000.- pesos. pp. Well maintained.
very nice site with baños very clean and free.
there was anybody before 12:00. you can take water in the toilets but not potable
We did not enter as the price is very high, especially as we go to Nazca in some days. 6000 pesos per adult and 3000 for children, for foreigners
Report Check-InThe collection of figures and symbols on the nearby hillsides are a great stop along Ruta 5. The visitor's centre is quite informative, even with the Google-translated English text. From the centre starts a 1km trail (one-way) with 3 stops with interpretative signs.
From the entrance gate, it's about 2.5km to the visitor's centre. It's where the pin on the map for a wild camp spot is located. But because of the gate and opening hours, I highly doubt overnighting is allowed. Forgot to enquire though.
Report Check-InCoordinate location is exact for the entry gate! Only given in the more unusual way.
Report Check-InVery impressive, worth the detour from Pozo Almonte. We corrected the coordinates for the entrance gate : -20.622565, -69.638436
We slept in our camper van at the picnic area marked nearby. Very quite. Beautiful with a tree(!) in the desert.
Everything is finished now and they charge 4000 Peso for foreigners (2000 Peso for locals)
Report Check-Inclosed until august 2017 due to construction of a new road. however a streetworker told us a by-pass and opened the gate for us for free at 4.30 pm on a saturday. definately worth a visit.
