Argentina
Beautiful spot/s right on the lakes - there are at least 2 at this end of Lago Verde, both are stunning. Firepits and tables (although you might have to bring your own tabletop), no other facilities. Few low hanging branches. The roads are in good condition and suitable for 2WD - hard packed sand. This whole '5 Lakes' area is Mapuche land and costs 30 pesos pp per day to enter, it is well worth it - one of the most beautiful places of our trip, and with lots of lakes to explore and many options for lakeside camping. Tents aren't allowed but a van / camper is OK, just tell them you want to stay when you enter. We spent a few days here and it was surprisingly quiet here in late December.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This area is owned by a Mapuche community, the entrance is further north. Visits are just allowed during daytime, so no overnight stays anymore!
