This is a small pull off on a quiet road overlooking the ocean. It is just down the hill from another spot that is listed, which we decided not to stay at because it has a gate and a private property sign. Just down the hill is a trail head for the beach, where we walked out and saw tons of seals playing in the surf and sunbathing at sunset. Great spot to boondock while visiting the redwood state and national parks. Verizon had almost full bars, T-Mobile none. Our transit connect filled up this pullout. Beautiful spot and fairly quiet, only a few cars around for sunset and some passed in the night.

wow what a great spot! toilet and trash receptacle at the bottom of the hill and full bars of service. I watched the sunset and the colony of sea lions, saw two bald eagles. Spot is pretty flat if you park your vehicle sideways. Ended up hanging out here for most of the morning.
Report Check-InGreat spot, nice and quiet besides the one vehicle who drove by at 1am. On a hill, so had to level the car out. Watched the sunset and dove in the car to escape the mosquitoes.
