Something not right?

Description

After having visited several hostals, we arrived here and this seemed to be a good choice! The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good to Bolivian standards and have private bathroom. There is a kitchen that can be used, but we cooked with our camping gear in the inner court. :-) Car could stay also in the court during day and night. The WiFi is very good. Breakfast is included in the price, we paid 100 BOL per person. We really recommend this place if you stay in Uyuni.

We were looking for this place but could not find it. So we asked a woman in a shop nearby. She said that the hostal doesn't exist anymore.

Still a good place to stay ! spacious room with good buffet breakfast, hot shower and decent WiFi! We left our bycicles 10 days to go on a trip.

230 BOL Double with private bathroom and breakfast. Entrance looks unclean and grubby, also Family who takes care of the hostel. but: Room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower was hot. Also the breakfast buffet was a surprise. Enough parking place for motobikes and two cars.

Report Check-In

Bad beds on first floor. Could be loud when the people start their tours to the salar at 04:30am
We paid 200 bol incl breakfast
Car park inside (max 5 cars)

Really decent place (for Bolivian standards) I chose this place because is the only one where I could park mi motorcycle inside.
The breakfast es great, eggs, cereals, coffe, etc.
100BL for single room whit private bath.

Nice hostal. Some rooms are nicer than the others though -- #17 on the third floor was great. 180bob for a couple in a room with private bath, included the breakfast buffet which is pretty good, scrambled eggs, breads, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, fruits. Daniel is friendly and helpful with whatever we needed.

Definitively one the best place i have stayed in South America. Not perfect but lot of little things that make this place great.

Daniel, i think he's the owner, is super friendly and helped me a lot despite my lame spanish. A good customer service isn't that common here. There is also an inner parking close to 3m high and a bit short on length. You won't fit a big rig, but most of cars with luggages on top would.
If you come here it's for the salt flats most of time. You have a sink with a tap in the inner yard. I took this opportunity for cleaning some equipment. That was welcomed.

Otherwise, 100 bols for a private room + 20 bols for an unlimited breakfast including eggs, juice, yogurt, fresh cut fruits and all the basics (bread, coffee, tea, cereals...)
Fast Wifi, big dining room with a kitchen, but i didn't ask if people could use it.

The only bad point would be the school band playing music in the morning from 8:00 to 10:00 if you want to sleep.

Highly recommended place, good value place and great customer service.

We payed 50 bobs pp as we were three with private bathroom. Breakfast not included but you could use the kitchen after nine am. The receptionist is really grumpy but not exactly unfriendly. Breakfast wasn't offered to us, so ask for it, it seems to be nice. As a friend wanted to stay and cook with us in the night he had to pay 10 bobs for "the electricity" :)
Wifi and showers are good (no suicide ones), rooms not incredibly beautiful but clean.

We came straight here after a tough nine-hour long journey through the rn21 and we confirm the previous comments: the receptionist is friendly, prices are ok (200bob/double room/night, we paid 180bob/night because we staid two nights), secured parking included, very hot shower in private bathroom, good wifi and breakfast included. All what we needed to rest!

Report Check-In

Double room with private bathroom, without breakfast is 100 Bol for 2 people. 10 Bol for parking inside.
The guy was a bit grumpy, but the Hotel is good for the price. Close to "downtown"

Report Check-In

after long search this was the best spot. 140B without breakfast but the kitchen is avalaible for guests.
really central and comfortable.
bathrooms smell a lot

Report Check-In

Not bad place for Bolivia, beds are laytrough and they do not clean sheets automatically for new guests. Some smell of sewerage in the room after shower or toilet (Bolivian design) wifi good, secure parking, breakfast better then average.
We like quina dorada better but parkings were full. All in all not a bad option in Uyuni.
