Description

Privacy: limited- the site overlooks the town of Gardiner, so how you park your vehicle or set up your tent will determine the amount of privacy
Ease of access: moderate (I based this on the fact that the road is steep, gravel, some gullies. In the winter, you would absolutely need chains on your tires.)
Views/Scenery: 10/10 Gorgeous scenery all around. Snowcap mountains to the west, rolling green mountains all around.
Cell reception: 2 bars on Cricket at this spot. On up the road the signal completely drops.
Crowded: several other boondockers along the road but the spots are spaced out well enough that it doesn’t seem too crowded
Noise: sounds of nature
Distance from nearest town: within sight (down the mountain, about a mile by the road)
Wildlife: personally saw several elk, even a mother with a calf. There are signs warning to keep food secure due to bears, but we haven’t seen any.
