Large flat gravel carpark adjacent to the restaurant where overnighting is permitted. Good menu with range of prices.
Open wifi from restaurant across the road if you have a decent antenna. A gas station across thr street seems to be open all night.
Note, area is used by trucks, but if you park against the bank where we we parked, they will be clear of you. Don't block the access around the end of the building.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here one night due to a long day of driving through the pass. No one bothered us, there is one very old sign that says no overnight parking on the restaurant side but there were many people staying here. The dirt lot side of the things is a DOT lot and you can stay there overnight.

Report Check-In

As described. Arrived slightly early and couldn’t make heads or tails of parking, parked facing the restaurant against the large snowbank. Joined by a couple semis and other cars and vans. Snowed on us overnight, and we went unbothered. As before, don’t block the access road around the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend, quiet for a roadside lot.

Around a dozen big rigs joined us here last night. Quiet spot, considering that it is right by the road. Great uneventful night. A gas station right across the street seemed to be open all night for any necessities. Thank you, Junction Restaurant!

Pagosa Adventure is very near this spot as well. If it’s a hot day then rent a tube for a fun float down the river! $18 for the whole day and they will shuttle you back to the start point as many times as you want. Riff Raff brewery is the start point which means you can enjoy a beverage before and after your float!

just here for 1 night 🌙

Report Check-In

There is a sign posted, no overnight parking allowed. However I stayed the night as well as a semi, no one bothered us.

Report Check-In

As described. Doesn’t seem like there is a need to ask permission. I did, but the response seemed as if it’s completely normal. They were closing up so I didn’t have to buy a curtsey beverage either which was nice.

Report Check-In

As described. We asked in the restaurant and we’re told it’s fine to park. There were a couple vans, a box truck and a small RV (both of which seemed to be more permanent fixtures), and several big rigs here the night we stayed. We parked along the bank closer to the restaurant and weren’t bothered. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant but they were very nice. Good cell service. Close to downtown.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot with a number of campers and commercial trucks parked for the night. Friendly staff was very welcoming.

Great place to stay for free. large gravel parking lot with other campers and a couple semis! Go see the free hot spring along the river. SO AMAZING. it was maybe 20° outside and we were warm & toasty in the hot springs.
We stayed two nights here with no problems.

Report Check-In

As described. Had dessert in the restaurant. Only a few cars/vans in the lot. Can hear passing traffic as lot sits adjacent to road. quiets down after midnight.

I showed up really late. it was nice. definitely eat at the restaurant if you can. good eggs. there's a Walmart 10 mins down the road if you don't want to be next to semis. they're kind of loud, but I sleep better with noise

Report Check-In

The paved parking lot is their property and they rather people park overnight on the gravel area. There are semi trucks here and it's right off the highway so can be noisy. Restaurant prices are cheap. We opted to drive South about 30 minutes to a national Forest road to camp.
