Chile
Very helpful, repaer and replaces windows, fridges, kitchen etc., you can sleep in the car. They built new campers.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Felix
Report Check-InRent a camper or park your camper if you need to fly off for a while to your home country. We were able to park our truck camper inside their production hall, paid 65000 for 2 weeks.
Report Check-InCorrection paid 50000 to park inside the shop for 2 weeks. Great place!
Report Check-InExtremely helpful and nice guys but they are so busy converting their own campers that they don’t have time to do small projects for other overlanders. We stopped with about 5 issues but again their business is booming (good for them) and couldn’t help us.
Report Check-Increation of campers.avons change skylights work was well done and fast, sebastien is very friendly and helpful. the prices are honest. The staff is professional. possibility of storrage .. good address ...
Report Check-InGreat place to do any repairs on campers and motorhomes.
They helped us to replace our fridge to a used one. Very helpful and nice people!!
We came back after a month in Argentina to get a few more things fixed, then we parked here when we flew to Easter Island and home for Christmas. They charge 100,000clp for a month parked outside and 150,000clp for inside. Victor also arranged rides to and from airport with his wife. There is a bano inside workshop with a hot shower and nicer bano in the office when it's open. Good wifi. Not much around though so come supplied. We chose outside parking to keep our solar panels charged. There is a security "tower" across the road with lights that shine onto this parking. No shade during the day. Hose for water available.
Very kind staff.
We emailed them via their website with our problems. Gave them an idea of when we would arrive and they began working right away. To get here, after you turn right off La Montaña go to the end of that road; it's the last one on the left and the gate is grey. The sign is to the left of the warehouse door. Address number is 100d. They helped with some of our problems, could not find parts for others. We were able to spend the night afterwards.
Report Check-InGreat work for a fair price! We could sleep here as well. We can really recommend it.
Report Check-InAs soon as you exit Ruta 5 and head east on La Montaña, take first dirt road on right. Finding the location was most difficult part of using this company. So gps 'sorta right'.
Once found, Rodrigo and staff were friendly and efficient. Had our clogged water line to kitchen sink cleared in under 30 minutes. And cleaned filter coming from water tank.
Set up water pressure hose for us to rinse off miles of road dust.
For 30,000p.
We came here to repair our generator's box and the whole team of Camper Travel at the end helped us for so many other things.
They really know the job, during our travel in South America we have visited many others shop and this is absolutely the best. They built some really strong vehicle, so they can help to solve many many problems.
They did absolutely everything to help us and make us feel at home finishing to invite us at their home for a barbecue. We camped in their warehouse, were able to use their shower and bathroom, fill up our fresh water tank, so, it means really everything.

Report Check-Inthey helped us immediately with our not working heating and fixed it . very friendly! fair price. you do not have to make an appointment, just come. how to find the place as descriped in the other note.
Report Check-InThis company is called Camper Travel (campertravel.cl) and was a really really great help for us. Possibly the best camperbuilder in South America. We had been limping along for a while with a broken fridge and broken windows when we stumbled upon these guys in the north of Santiago. They fixed our Seitz window, installed a new roof window/sky light, welded and spraypainted our jerry cans, installed a new ARB awning and helped us fix our Waeco fridge. When they couldn't fix it themselves they went out of their way to check with two other companies to make sure it was fixed in the end. They also build and outfit pick up campers, repair motorhomes and had just finished a fantastic looking Mercedes Vario conversion similar to ours. It is one of the few companies in Santiago (maybe 2 others that we know of) or even in South America that has specialist camper parts: new Dometic stoves, Seitz windows, Victron battery chargers, Waeco fridges, ARB awnings, lights, recovery ramps etc and they are very experienced, knowledgeable and travelers themselves. Basic electronics, welding, carpentry, paint jobs, they can do it all. The owners Rodrigo (manager) and Victor (head mechanic) and their whole team did absolutely everything to help us and make us feel at home and are super fun guys to hang out with. We camped in their warehouse, were able to use their shower, bathroom, kitchen, fill up our watertank, everything! They even fired up the BBQ and got us beers when we arrived. No English speakers here, only Spanish but still this is a great place to get the camper part of your vehicle repaired, updated or checked during your trip, especially if you just bought something second hand in Chile and want to change some things. They don't have wifi but in the office or in front of the building you can pick up the signal from the neighbours. Directions: coming from the north on Ruta 5 (panamericana) take exit to calle La Montaña which passes under the highway, then take the first right. Their warehouse has no sign but it's the last one on the left with black doors and an orange roof, opposite the bus parking lot. Highly recommended!
Update: we visited again a few times over the time we spent in Chile, as we had agreed to leave our vehicle in their warehouse whilst we went back to Holland.
