Hlalanathi Resort | Established Campground

Absolutely stunning resort! We arrived quite late, but were made to feel very welcome by the guard at the gate. He told us reception would open at 8 am, but we were free to find a stand and gave a few handy recommendations. The ablutions are clean and warm - beautiful thatch roof.
The stand is level cement with grass around. Each site has a lovely braai area and the views are amazing! It was wonderful waking up to the sound of the river flowing down the bottom of the valley and the Amphitheater keeping watch above. And a surprise visitor made us feel right at home.

We also popped into the pub last night and shared a bottle of wine and 2 starters and our bill came to under R300, so excellent value for money!

Campsites 1, 2 and 3 have a bench with a spectacular view. Number 2 has the power supply though so you’ll need a long extension to reach if you book into the others. Lovely staff, good ablutions, nice pool for cooling off. Priced appropriately. Recommended.

Very nice resort with campground ( we had Nr. 4 - fantastic view over the valley), friendly staff, good and clean ablutions. 360 ZAR pn for two. We played pleasant 9 hole golfcourse 320 ZAR for two.
