The best spot here (at the edge of the canyon) is taken by a permanent (?) trailer but still enough other spots. Popular sunset spot, but quiet night. If you like hiking, make sure to do the "Lost village trail".
Report Check-InReally nice view, multiple spots to camp in and find lots of firewood.
Quite windy in the evening but the night it’s almost no wind.
It was 17 degrees at night in April so quite cold after almost 30 everywhere else - bring some warm clothes! :)
Report Check-InThe first part of the plateau (Ash Shirayjah) was not our favorite. Too many buildings, too less stunning views which we are used to have in this beautiful mountains. But the second part (Ar Ruus) was really nice. Absolutely worth and more lonely. Route 14 Oman Offroad.
