Something not right?

Description

Pull off along national forest road. In early spring we had the place to ourselves, except for a herd of deer.

Great views of the lake. Fire ring. Lots of wood around.

Beautiful spot. In the forest, green trees, gorgeous sunset with cotton candy pink clouds over the lake. You know when you are past the private property when you pass a gate exactly like the one at the entrance. Did I mention the stars? and quiet? Pullout big enough for a few of Vans or a trailer. Don't forget to stop at the free water in paisley. info on ioverlander.

Attempted to park for the night in April but turned around after a mile up the road. Slippery mud and snow. Even with 4WD didn’t want to risk it with storm coming in.

There’s a second pullout a few hundred feet up the road from the pinned spot. Just as beautiful a view and pretty well isolated from the first spot, albeit less spacious. Still, our 25’ RV fit comfortably. Amazing place to camp.

Spot rules. Stayed 3 days. Very quiet. Nice background noise of a stream close by.

Awesome place on National Forest. First 2 Mile of the road are through private land, road itself is public.

This location is a pull-out on a forest road (which was the only downside to us). We stayed on a Sunday night and saw only two cars Monday morning before we left. We had a truck with a camper and a 4Runner. The site was a bit small for both of us, until we pulled the 4Runner down below (see photos). The view of summer lake was awesome and yes, there was a bunch of old dried cow manure but we didn’t mind. So we thought it was a decent spot, with great views. Plus it’s only about 3 miles off the main highway next to summer lake.

Scenic views at site but also an abundance of cow manure... had no problem finding another site with similar views and way less manure ^_^ still a great spot.

Great spot to spend the night. Small creek next to it if you have a way to filter the water. Lots of firewood and even a previous fire pit.
