Description

MODERATOR NOTE: Overnight camping FORBIDDEN!

The whole Wascana center is forbidden for overnight parking. A sign at the entrance says so. See picture. Mark this place as closes.

Parking area directly at the Wascana Lake. There are no restriction signs. Nearby street might be loud, also lots of cars coming and going in the day. But as it is in the city there is always some noise. Perfect place to explore Regina. Water toilets under the terrace of the restaurant. We stayed two nights in a row.

great spot another camper was there didn't get bothered by security and there aren't no signs prohibiting overnight stay (maybe at the entrance didn't see it)

Report Check-In

READ: good place but kinda loud, HOWEVER: I received a note from security saying this was prohibited and I could’ve been fined. Please see note in photo. Luckily no fine

Report Check-In

No more construction, entire parking accessible. Great spot, a bit noisy with the car from the street but nothing too bad. Calm and nice view.

Report Check-In

On our way To British Colombia, we stopped by for lunch.
big parking in the City.

Report Check-In

On Sept 18th parking lot is closed due to construction (new surface and access road). But found a place at Regina rowing club, next to The Willow on Wascana restaurant (next turn left once you pass junction to the closed parking lot). If you're lucky and catch one of the few spots, you can expect quiet night out of the street lights. Wasrooms open all night, under the restaurant. Place is getting very busy in the morning with rowing classes. No parking limitations. Okay for 1 night, situated right on the nice trail around Wascana lake.

Report Check-In

Construction at the parking lot. Arrived at 8:30pm and what was left of the parking lot was full. Couldn’t stay :(

Report Check-In

We slept there twice with no problem. Very nice walk around the lake and reasonable walking distance from city center.

Report Check-In

Nice beautiful little place. The Bar Willow Eatery (being the only restaurant cafe in the park) has 180’ window with very nice view of the entire park, and the menu is friendly and unpretentious.

Report Check-In

Stayed there one night with no problem. It is noisy during the night, but besides that nobody disturbed us.

Report Check-In

Good place to stay on this parking lot by the Wascana Lake in Regina city center.
We spend 1 night here with our van, no problems at all.
There is toilets close to the parking.
Recommand.

Report Check-In

Small sign at Park entrance saying overnight camping is not allowed but no sign on parking lots.

Report Check-In

As described, very nice place, bu not possible to swim in the lake due to farms chemical in the area. Police came by to patrol, didn’t control us.

Report Check-In

quiet level car park at the marina suronded by some trees felt quiet and not busy

Report Check-In

Perfect place to stay for a night or two. Easy access to explore the city. It's quite busy during the day (to be fair, we stayed during a weekend), but pretty quiet during the night. There is a public washroom close by that closes at 10 pm.

Report Check-In

We park near the boat house, fewer parking spot. great view on the lake and right next to a walking trail around the lake

Report Check-In

Nice spot next to the lake. Some road noise but generally quiet. Carpark cleared out when it got dark. Good spot to explore Regina.

Report Check-In

Great spot! Not very noisy. If you have a big rig, it might be difficult to get a space if you arrive in the evening as they opened a restaurant here in april 2019. We found a spot with our 36ft though. The restaurant is good but not great and very expensive, I would recommend just for a drink.

Report Check-In

Great spot, a bit of noise from the road but that is to be expected. Toilets just a 2 min walk away. I recommend putting up window shades for all the light from the street lamps as well as for privacy. A fair amount of people come here for their morning walks.

Report Check-In

we were all alone on the lot from 10pm to 7am, after that a few jogger but in general never too loud to sleep
the public washroom locks itself after 10pm

Report Check-In

As described, but there is another more reserved parking for small rigs closer to the water next to the boat house.
