nice, kilometers long, very wide road with many places to stay. nice views of the lake and an easy walk into town. not a very used road, but still a decent amount of vehicles passing by during the day. silent at night. 1b to use the toilet at the campground here.

Really lovely spot right on the beach! Quiet night for us, as well. The hostal owners were very kind and offered us a restroom and a shower. This is probably the best wild camping spot near a border that we’ve stayed at in Central & South America. If it’s busy season, perhaps it would be a bit more active on the beach and further down in the town, but currently it’s very tranquil. The town itself is a cute place! Backpacker friendly. Enjoy!

We spend two very quiet night here, with lovely sunsets and a beautiful view on the lake ! New friends with lovely dogs !

Stayed two nights in front of the Onkel Inn Hotel. They are friendly and provided us a map of Copacabana. Wifi key changed but we didn't ask for the new one. Quiet at night, just a few dogs barking like everywhere.

We stayed just off to the side of Onkel Inn. We felt like we were in the middle of the road but we asked the operator of the inn if we could camp and he said no problem. It was a Saturday night when we camped and it wasn't too noisy. People walked by and a few motos. We woke up to find 4 guard dogs beneath our tent.

Beach side wild camping at the lake. Very long beach, enough space to choose a quiet spot. Password [Password removed by Moderator.], but it's fairly useless, because&dsgdfffg&df:bbhd&dddj n it doesn't work (only in the night or early morning).

at friday and saturday night many bolivians camps with tents on the beach; some loud music from them in the night; many dogs at beach and streets; many thrash at the weekend;
many people come for benediction of their cars at the church (mon-fri: 10:00 +14:30; sat,sun: 10:00 open end);

Wifi password still works.. we parked here in the afternoon but moved a bit further up the road later in to camp which was quieter and a lot less windy :)

We parked at the lake in front of hotel Onkelinn. Nice and quiet at night. You can pick up their WiFi signal, pasword: [Password removed by Moderator.] , and we could also use their toilets. Free

Great spot on the lakeshore. Free camp with the huge gang of dogs, or take advantage of the "cheap as chips" camping in the hostal grounds.

Plenty of free camping along the lake. We went a bit further along next to Hostel Ecolodge and paid them to use their wifi

On Lake Titicaca Beach further along from the trout restaurants. There is a good space just before the Hostel which appears to have no name. This was very quiet overnight with no traffic. Come to an arrangement with the owner of the hostel (who sells some pretty inventive jewellery made out of old cutlery) for toilets. There are also public toilets at the other end of the beach. FREE.
