Not entirely sure in which direction it is not allowed to take fresh meat and the like, but I think west to east though I was waved through in this direction.

Fences were erected in 1954 to prevent further epidemic "foot & mouth" disease amongst cattles.
We crossed the vet fence from both directions and we have never been ask from anything but waved kindly by the officer.
