Overnight not allowed at Walmart parking lot but we talked to the security guard who told us it's allowed in the street behind. There was an Rv park there but we chose not to stay since it was very dark. The Security guard said it is a safe place. But instead we stayed at Home Depot parking lot which is allowed and there were several Rvs there.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Parked here around 11pm after Home Hardware had closed. A few other RVs and a lot of cars and trucks parked in the lot for the night.
Report Check-InWe initially parked our RV in the Wal-Mart parking lot, but at 11 PM, security politely told us to move. They said it was fine to park on the north side of the lot, to the right of the Wal-Mart, in front of an abandoned box store. We parked there with a couple other big rigs and weren’t disturbed for the rest of the night.
Report Check-Inparked at 2am, a few campers were here as well. got a knock at 1pm saying private property, can't park overnight, no knock before then. you can probably still be fine here in a pinch but I would move early am.
Report Check-InHomedepot parking lot. Got a notice on my window in the morning that the parking lot was private & no overnighting was allowed. It said they noted the license plate & would tow next time. No nock at night though.
Report Check-InWe parked at Home Depot with other RVs. We rolled in at 11pm.
Report Check-InWalmart parking has signs not to camp overnight but is still full of campers, some sketchy. I moved to Home Depot and there were 3-4 other RVs and a car, no issues.
Report Check-InStayed at the Walmart last night with at least 15 other campers and large RVs. It looks like the no overnight parking is only on the back wall directly across from the Walmart entrance. Had no problems and felt safe staying there with so many other vehicles around.
Report Check-InWe stayed one night in the home depot parking lot, had no problems.
Report Check-InWALMART SECURITY TELL US TO MOVE OR TICKET TONIGHT!
We saw the HOME DEPOT parking lot available but prefer a 6minutes drive south to a free and available spot! Chek it on the map.
Stopped in at 07:00 to shop at Walmart. Several motorhomes in both Home Depot and Walmart that obviously spent the night. Even an 5th wheel unhooked and set up on blocks in Walmart. Was an active fireworks stand there, maybe it was the workers.
Report Check-Instayed here for 2 nights (not in a row). signs clearly say no overnights in Walmart but no signs for the Home depot. Lots of other vans and larger campers. The amount of people staying over night made it feel like they will prohibit staying there soon, in my opinion.
Report Check-InStood at Home Depot for two days, no problems. Great strong Wifi.
Report Check-InI stayed here last night with lots of other RV's. Security didn't care. I think it changes all the time. Sometimes they tolerate overnight parking, sometimes not.
