After a bumpy 7km coming in from South of Mackenzie on Parsnip west FSR we arrived. We have been on much worse roads but after being told it was graded regularly at the info centre we were not expecting it to be so rough. The good news is No Potholes! 19 sites very few with a view of the lake. The lake is gorgeous with a fabulous sandy beach. Cell service seems to come and go. As per the Info centre you can stay here for up to 14 days for free keep in mind this is the same person that told me the road was graded every 2 days 🙄
Report Check-Invery nice campground with many wooded sights, easily accessible on well maintained dirt road, not many people, no lake view from site but short path to sandy beach with very refreshing water, pit toilets, firewood at sites, 1 bar ATT LTE in and out
Report Check-In20 mins off the Hwy. Gravel road with some pot holes. We took our 40ft skoolie to this site for 1 night before going to Fort Nelson.
Lots of bugs + mosquitoes June 21st!
Site was pretty busy, we arrived around 3-4pm people were packing up and leaving around 6pm. There’s a couple sites that would fit a big rig. We seemed fine.
No hook ups, dry camping.
