Nice place to spend a night and leave your car when doing the Santa Cruz trek. Kind owners and fairly clean toilets and showers. 10 sol per night, doesn’t matter if you sleep in the car or just store it during the trek

Report Check-In

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and left car for five days in its parking lot. This hotel is a good option to leave your vehicle during trekking around Yangay, as the parking lot is large and secure. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathroom leave something to be desired, the shower did not work in our room, so had to go to the even dirtier shared shower. But hey apart from that we managed to negotiate (hardly) the room at 50s and we didn't pay for the parking days. The wifi is not very good

Report Check-In

great place to stay, very nice sir in the reception. he let us stay here for one 10 soles with shower and toilet included!
our car has 2,37m height and it was OK to get in, higher car may not entry.

Report Check-In

If you don’t fit into the garage, there is no space in front of the hotel to park for the night. We went to check it out, it wasn’t an option for us.

Report Check-In

Very nice owner. We left the car there while doing the Santa Cruz trek, it’s a safe place with closed gate at night.
We paid 10s/night for the parking. We could also sleep in the car, and use the bathroom (toilet & suicide hot shower) as we wish, without paying extra.
Wifi was working quite well.

Report Check-In

good hotel, clean, good wifi.
40 soles for a double room.
parking area closed.

Nice people that let you sleep in your van and allow you te leave it while doing trekking. We stayed there 5 nights and they ask only for the tip you decide (we decided to pay them 50 soles).

Nice hot electric shower, average working WiFi and a nice small town.

Totally recommended!

The owner is the sweetest, and lets you sleep in the parking lot and use the bathroom and showers. Water can be hot or cold depending on how lucky you are.
We also left the car here while doing the Santa Cruz trek. Felt super safe.
Total: the car spent 3 nights there, the first of them with us inside - we paid 20 soles.
I can only recommend this hotel, for its very kind owners

Just checking in to say that everything still the same. Hot shower is awesome. There is a nice covered area tall enough that even our rooftop tent had no problem opening.
On the subject of maximum height, up to 2.60m you should be fine, it is close but we made it no problem.

Report Check-In

I can't recommend the place unless you are looking for the cheapest shower around. Many families seem to live here so it is never quiet and a drunk guy ran into my truck as I was packing some stuff. The electric plugs do not have a ground so I couldn't work for long, so the good wifi was useless to me. Shower was barely mild and many toilets did not have seats, but some do so you can be patient and wait for it to free up. No seat is common in latin america but when I pay for a hotel, I expect to have a seat. Cows mooed all night, the big parking loudly opened and closed multiple times in as people went to work and a pig got bleeded at 6:30am with all thr screaming that you could imagine, removing all hopes I had of falling back asleep.

Very happy peanut. The caretaker/receptionist Henry let me stay for pay what you want. Slept 2 nights and left the car there for another night while doing Santa Cruz. Fast internet 10mbps, bathroom shower electricity available.

We arrived there and met Alberto Salgado who owns the place. He offered us to stay and use all the amenities for free because he's used to travel and give a lot of importance to tourists. He advised us about what to do in the area while sharing a beer.
He's also an officer of Yungai police so you'll be more than safe here. Yungai seems to be a safe town anyway.
We really recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Our headlight stopped working halfway down the hill in the dark, so we were a little desperate and had to stay in Yungay... Paid s/40 for a matrimonial - luke warm shower, no toilet seat, no wifi (think it's an iPhone thing) and a bit average in general. But Henry really is the nicest man ever, there is secure parking and we got to watch TV in bed.

We took just hot shower for s3 both of us and we stayed the night for more s3. The wifi was working. The owner is really frindly. We totally recomended!

Report Check-In

Good place to stay. We camped in our van on the hotel's parking lot (secured).
The pricing was a little bit weird, first we were told we can give whatever contribution we wanted (we gave 15 soles for 2 people), then the next day the owner told us the price is actually fixed at 5 soles per night per vehicle.
We could use the bathroom and warmish shower. We couldn't manage to get the wifi to work but I think it was a temporary issue.

Henry (the caretaker) is one of the loveliest guys we've met. We slept here two nights. He also helped us organise a taxi up to Laguna 69. He is very kind.
Very secure large concrete parking lot, locked at night, has security cameras. We used downstairs hotel bathroom, and paid 3spp for a hot shower.
He is happy for more overlanders to stay.
